...But I get up again!

When I was laid off from my long time job during the economic melt-down in 2006, my path was forever altered.

Faced with joblessness, I took off in what I considered a practical direction (AVA, the administrative me). I secured a lucrative permanent part-time position as a virtual personal assistant, and marched on.

Next, I opened a repair and service driven, but still creative site (MaidenShade, a lampshade repair and custom design store) and finally expanded into my literature and art with Studio Cygne - which contains the soul of me.

I went into a booth in 2016 and started selling Dixie Belle paint products. From there I opened my own brick and mortar store (Out on a Whim) in 2017, moved to Homosassa in 2018, then back into the MaidenShade Studio in 2019, and here I am - moving onward as usual!

I invite you to join me as I continue on my journey, flying along with both feet dangling in mid-air, my spirit fully engaged.
